Long Line Clips

Longline clips are heavy-duty clips designed to quickly attach branch lines (snoods) to a main backbone line, most commonly in longline or setline fishing. They allow anglers to clip multiple baited hooks onto a mainline efficiently and remove them just as quickly when retrieving and rebaiting.

In recreational NZ fishing, they’re often used in kontiki or drone longline setups targeting species like Snapper and Gurnard. The clips keep traces spaced evenly and reduce tangling while the line is being deployed and retrieved.
