An excellent, easy to apply slip-resistant finish for decks.
Interdeck is a single pack slip resistant coating whose tough polyurethane resins give great protection against wear and tear. A durable slip-resistant finisih giving sure-footed and hard wearing protection to all deck surface. Resists sun and saltwater spray. Interdeck contains a fine aggregate that will apply easily on all substrates.
Colours match Brightside shades. Above water use.

APPLICATION AND USE:
Preparation-
Sound Painted Surfaces: Thoroughly degrease with International Surface Prep then rinse with fresh water. Allow to dry. Abrade thoroughly with 280-320 grade paper as a minimum. Apply one coat of Pre-Kote all over followed by 1-2 coats of Interdeck.
Unsound Painted Surfaces: Remove all unsound coatings and treat as for new surfaces.
NEW SURFACES: Surface preparation is critical. All preparation for bare substrates is covered on the appropriate primer datasheet.
TIMBER: Apply Yacht Primer.
STEEL: Prime with Yacht Primer or Interprotect.
ALUMINIUM: Prime with Etch Primer followed by either Yacht Primer or Interprotect.
GRP: Never painted but in new or excellent condition: No priming necessary. Thoroughly degrease with International Surface Prep then rinse with fresh water. Allow to dry. Abrade with 180-220 grade paper.
Never painted and in poor condition: Thoroughly degrease with International Surface Prep then rinse with fresh water. Allow to dry. Abrade with 180-220 grade paper. Apply 1-2 coats of Yacht Primer to seal surface before applying undercoat.
ALL SUBSTRATES: Use Pre-Kote undercoat.
Method:
Sand the undercoat with 180-220 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe. Apply 1-2 coats.
Hints:
Mixing- Stir well before use.
Thinner- YTA800 International Enamel Thinners #1.
Cleaner- YTA800 International Enamel Thinners #1.
Ventilation and Humidity Control- Apply in dry, well ventilated conditions.
Other: For best results either stipple by brush or use a mohair roller.
Some Important Points:
Product temperature should be minimum 10°C and maximum 30°C. Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F. Substrate temperature should be minimum 5°C/40°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.
Compatibility/Substrates:
Suitable for all substrates and filled surfaces. Not suitable for permanently immersed surfaces. Do not clean with highly alkaline cleaners.
