Coastlock Snaps

Coastlock snaps are strong, locking clips with a curved, interlocking design that prevents them from accidentally opening under load. Unlike standard snap clips, the coastlock shape provides extra security, making them ideal for heavier tackle and hard-fighting fish.

They’re commonly used to quickly change lures, sinkers, or pre-tied rigs while maintaining high strength. Coastlock snaps are popular when casting metal lures for Kahawai or when jigging and livebaiting for powerful species like Kingfish.

Because of their added strength and secure locking design, they’re preferred over lighter snap clips when targeting larger fish or fishing in rough conditions.
